Planning Meetings
We have a pretty simple structure and we have been doing this long enough that we do not need a lot of planning. Still, we get together from time to time to plan for upcoming events.
History
We had our first organizational meeting on May 18, 2007. Eleven folks gathered at Plymouth Congregational Church in Des Moines to form the beginning of our At-Home Dad's group. We got to introduce ourselves to one another, consider what kind of activities we would like to create and what kind of structure we would like to have. Since then, we have continued to develop as an active group with a regular stream of new dads.
