We may not have much on the schedule right now, but dads are making adhoc events. One says, Hey, I'm going to the aquatic center tomorrow, anybody game? And another joins in. The group continues to be developing in contacts between our dads. If you are wondering whether you should get involved, join the yahoo group list in the sidebar. You don't have to be the only at-home dad you know.

Success!
Our first playgroup event was a great success. We had 15 dads come to the park with their kids and nine get together after for lunch. Fun was had by all. Injuries were avoided. We got more practice learning each others' names. My two year old son found a new friend with a spare shovel and spent an hour in the sandboxwith her. He asked several times on the way home if we could play with her again soon. I know I am looking forward to our next gathering. I think others are too.
